Bingshu Wu, the chairman of China Die & Mould Industry Association (CDMIA) and Yuhua Li, deputy secretary-general have attended the Federation of Asian Die and Mould Associations Annual General Meeting (FADMA AGM) held in Manila, the Philippines from August 26 to August 30, 2019.
During the August 28, All representatives of the Federation of Asian Die and Mould Associations (FADMA) took part in the opening ceremony of the 9th Philippine Die & Mould Machineries and Equipment Exhibition (PDMex 2019) and visited the exhibition with the invitation of the Philippines Die & Mold Association,INC. (PDMA). The PDMex held once every two years and has been held for nine sessions so far. There were eight thematic exhibitions including outsourcing and engineering exhibition, machine tool exhibition, metal material exhibition held at the same time.
The FADMA AGM 2019 was held at the World Trade Center Metro Manila on the afternoon of August 28,2019. The meetings hosted by Bingshu Wu, the chairman of FADMA which has attracted 21 convention delegates including Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Taiwan(China), Philippines, South Korea, and Hong Kong(China). As the beginning, Bingshu Wu introduced the participants and gave a brief speech. He expressed sincere thanks to all the representatives from different member countries and regions. Then, he made a presentation of the agenda and specific arrangements for the meeting. This year's annual conference was hosted by the PDMA, The chairman of PDMA, Mr.HectorU.Villanueva JR warmly welcomed all delegates coming to Manila for the FADMA AGM 2019. At the meantime, he emphasized the conference providing a regional platform for enhancing communication, exchanging experience, promoting international cooperation and trade, pushing the industry integration and technology development of the Asian die and mould industry. At last, he expressed the wishes that all the delegates from faraway had a happy working and living time in the Philippines.
PDMA’s Mr Cheng PengHeok, treasurer of FADMA made a financial report to the conference. After that, the conference passed the financial audit report meeting minutes of FADMA in 2018 following the meeting procedures.

In order to boost the interaction and cooperation across Asian die and mould industry, promoting the integration of trade, technology, exhibitions, information exchange, investment and industrial development in Asia, delegates had a deep discussion about the industrial development of Asian die and mould industry, the progress of technology innovations, international conferences and exhibitions, In particular, they launched a substantive discussion and implementation plans for exhibits collaboration among members of various associations.
The deputy secretary-general of CDMIA Yuhua Li, gave a detailed introduction to the preparations for the "16th ISTMA World Conference", including the overall structure, theme, preliminary agenda, thesis collection, publicity sponsorship collection, website establishment, the overall publicity of the conference and so on, helping participants had more particular knowledge of ISTMA and were unanimously approved. All of the participants were willing to actively participate in ISTMA which maintains the authority as a leading professional exhibition on global die and mould industry. In the end, after determined the host site of FADMA AGM 2020, China Hong Kong Mould & Die Council warmly and actively invited the FADMA AGM 2020 coming to their city and received a positive response from the participants.
After the meeting, the welcome banquet held by PDMA and the local exhibition organizers presented in a characteristic Philippine style. Representatives from members of the FADMA and exhibitors had dinner together in a warm, friendly and joyful atmosphere. All of them were aiming to build friendship and achieve the win-win situation for Asian die and mould industry.
The delegates were arranged to visit the "Metal Industry Research and Development Center." by PDMIA during the FADMA AGM 2019.
As the institutions of the Philippine Ministry of Science and Technology, The Metal Industry Research and Development Center was established on June 8, 1966. It is the only government entity that directly supports the metal and engineering industry mainly aiming to push the development and expansion of the Philippine metal industry as well as promote competitive advantage. The main task of the institution is function as a bridge between die and mould industry and government, to boost the development of the country's metals, engineering and related industries.
